TSB began providing quality technical service to small system operators in 1983.  Our original service included franchise engineering, mapping, design, activation and maintaining state of the art broadband coaxial networks.    The construction division was added in 1995 to meet our customer’s needs for qualified and experienced HFC installation contractors. 

TSB’s officers and employees represent more than 100 years of experience in broadband engineering, design, construction and consulting services.  We have stayed at the forefront of broadband technology from the early days of fiber optic overlays to today’s complex voice, video and data networks. 

TSB is a full service broadband company that provides construction, installation and certification for all HFC and FTT-x architectures from the CO/Headend to the CPE device.

Tony Gauer, Cofounder, President and CEO 

Tony Gauer entered the Broadband Industry industry as the manager of the Northwest Iowa systems for Zylstra Communications in 1980. Tony was promoted to Director of Engineering for Zylstra where he was responsible for meeting with franchise authorities, managing all new franchise construction, overseeing the entire Zylstra technical staff and vendor negotiations. Since leaving Zylstra in 1987 he has been the President of TSB, Inc. 

Mr. Gauer is a graduate of the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology. He has held various positions within the Dakota Territories SCTE Chapter including VP of training and President. Tony is currently a member of the SCTE. 

Tony is an active member of his community where he served as the President of the School Board and is the Treasurer of his local Township Board.

Wes Schick, Co-founder, Sr. Vice President

Wes Schick brings his past executive experiences from Broadband Services, Inc where he was Sr. Vice President-General Manager of Supply Chain Management and previously the Executive Vice President at Itochu Cable Services.

Mr. Schick held various management positions during his tenure at Antec (now Arris) including Regional VP of Sales to Managing Director of Asia Pacific, responsible for new business development and sales in South East Asia.

He also held positions as Regional Sales Engineer and Product Manager for all Broadband products for Anixter Communications. He was responsible for the new business development of fiber optic technology into the broadband Industry with the joint venture of Anixter and AT&T.

He has been in the telecommunications industry since 1980 when he started in technical operations for a small cable television MSO in the Midwest. 

Wes Schick is a graduate of the University of South Dakota with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Two Way Communications. He has been a Director at Large of the Greater Chicago SCTE Chapter, and is currently a member of both the SCTE and APICS.
